New Research: Pioneering Visibility Graph Analysis in Education
Our laboratory is delighted to announce that our latest research has been published in Scientific Reports (Nature portfolio), presenting for the first time the use of visibility graph analysis in the field of educational data. In this work, we transform students’ online learning behaviors into graph structures, allowing us to analyze temporal learning patterns, classify significant learning events, and accurately predict at-risk students. This innovative approach not only offers a fresh and interpretable lens for understanding how learners interact in digital environments but also provides educators with a powerful data-driven tool for timely intervention and improved educational outcomes.
